Greetings,

Had all those people who threw away their personal VM reels
kept them, they'd now be a gold mine just for the reels so that they
could be reused instead of having to buy new ones for $2 each (or
whatever they cost now).

Point being that the worth of the stereo "slides" might not
be known until sometime after the person is dead, and the the reason
it'll become valuable isn't always obvious at the time.

How much does it cost to store a few thousand slides? Not
asking about "archival storage" by the Metropolitan -- when the
alternative is a dumpster, I'm talking about just storing a shoebox
in the a relative's attic.

Make it a condition in one's will that if the relative is to
collect all the good-stuff, they have to store and pass-on your stereo
slides too. Include a passive viewer. :-)

	Just a thought.

Mike K.
