P3D Re: Tru-Vue Viewer Problem

I recently acquired a Tru-Vue viewer which looked to be in mint
condition (one of the old style filmstrip viewers not the card viewer). 
However, when I actually put the strips through to view them they were
strangely out of focus.  

It looked like the original lenses were in the viewer, although the
only  explanation I could come up with was that maybe somebody stuffed
in some ones of improper focal length.  Does anybody have any shortcuts
on how to fix this simply, if not, I think I will have to get some new
lenses to put in it.
