Brenda took the words right out of my mouth! I was at the Moran exhibit
yesterday too!! Too bad we missed each other. I had fun listening to
other people explain the concept of the stereographs (some were good,
some were degraded by the way) and I even whipped out my Realist and
explained it to a few people who were having trouble understanding. I
was even able to explain to my Norwegian visitors that they could
freeview over people's shoulders as I was doing instead of waiting for an
empty chair. I was downtown shooting for the upcoming PSSP competition on
DC and our upcoming mounting workshop.
Also in the East Wing of the Gallery that made the visit even better was
the M.C. Escher exhibit! This was a very worthwhile trip indeed!!
If you get the chance to go to the National Gallery of Art, the Moran
exhibit is on until January 11, and the Escher exhibit is on until April I
believe.
3D is alive and well in our nation's capital!
Adam
