Hi all!

Would like to start by thanking everyone who contributed to this thread:

Steve Berezin
Paul Talbot
Linda Nygren
etc.

Okay, as I understand it, while on the Realist, one can use a "sunshade"
filter holding system (w/series V sized filters, unthreaded), Revere users
must use either threaded series IV filters, or find step-up rings from
series IV to series V. Sam Smith points out that "series V adapters" are
the best bet, but what kind of adapter are we talking about here? Is the
adapter just a step-up ring? I would assume not if it's designed to hold
filters of various sorts, not just threaded filters. He also says I need
either "26mm slip-on or a 23mm screw-in". I understand the screw-in type
just fine, but my experience with filters for my 35mm camera has yet to
expose me to slip on filters. Are these something that are readily
available from filter vendors? I apologize to everyone for being a little
slow to grasp the solution, but I'm still just a little bit confused. It
sounds like what want is some way to use series V filters on this camera
(Revere). And, if I'm following correctly, the way to do that is with
something similar to the Realist Sunshade filter holder system; something
that will hold either a threaded or smooth series V filter and will then
"slip" over the end my lenses. Does such an accessory exist, or am I back
to the conventional step-up ring idea? If there are any Revere users out
there who use filters, please speak up. I'd love to hear what you've done.

Thanks again to all!

Jason
