Slip on adapters hold the filters in place. You unscrew the retainer, drop
in the filter, screw back on the retainer. The filters themselves have no
threads. I recommended series V because they are easier to find and less
likely to vignette.I believe the reason the revere has a built in retaining
ring is because there were already slip-in filters for it. Anyone want to
confirm this?
