Certainly - you wouldn't expect most of the people on a golf course to play
like Tiger Woods. The discussion was on the ease with which reasonable
quality stereo prints can be duplicated from the original negatives, as
compared to the ease with which quality duplicates can be made from existing 
slides. George pointed out that some stereo prints are laboriously hand crafted
(which would make them difficult to duplicate), and I responded that
dodged/burned and hand tinted prints are not representative of the bulk
of stereo prints being made today.

So with reference to the discussion I was having with George, I don't think 
it would be much fun to use dodging and burning and hand tinting to make 
several dozen (or several thousand) identical stereo prints for distribution.

That's nice, but would you be willing to provide more details? If you do
know, and if you do care, then how do you avoid these problems?
