Isopropol (rubbing) alchohol ?  Works for color  Polaroids .

Can any of you fine folks advise me as to a safe/effective method to clean
a bunch of black & white neg's. I have - family stuff from the early '30s
which I'd like to have printed. Appreciate any and all comments.
