Most people are polite enough to show interest to the pictures shown to
them. Asking if they like them, usually brings "yes" as an answer.
But many times you can tell the difference between those who really
like them and those who don't see them as anything special. Showing
the same picture in 2d and 3d and asking people to tell you if they see
a difference is one way to check if they really see stereo.

I am a bit puzzled by these comments... Do you assume that they touch the
viewer's lenses with their eyes? If not, I don't see how could these
infections be passed by just looking through the viewer...
(Only when my kids were much younger - 4 or younger - and used the viewer
they actually touched the lenses with their eyes... I have never seen this
happen with adults)
