There's a good chance it is - one of the three uses recommended on the
package is "photo albums". They've been selling the product for many
years - if the tape is injurious to photos, I imagine they'd be aware of
it by now. Perhaps 3M has some information. Do you know anything about it?

If the tape is *not* "photo-safe", and the prints still look fine after
7-8 years, then when should they start looking bad? :-)
