I did read the Nimslo patents once. I seem to remember that the
emusion is already on the back side of the lenticular material.
Then four exposures are made through the lenticular side, with
careful control of the lens position for each exposure. The
print is then processed in the usual manner. Finally, an opaque
coating is applied to cover the emulsion.
This does seem simpler than what Tony said. I was particuarly
interested in his statement that the machine is pretty expensive.
