P3D SCSC 3D Movie Division Meeting

"View-Master Night" at the SCSC 3D Movie Division meeting:

Be sure and mark your calendars for the Saturday, December 6th
meeting of the Movie Division. The Movie Division meets at the
Longley Way School, 2601 Longley Way at Las Tunas in the city
of Arcadia. The meeting starts promptly at 7:00pm (This meeting
we will meet in the schoolís multi-purpose room). The program
will include some movie preview View-Master reels. So if you
have some rare (or not so rare) View-Master movie preview reels
(or other interesting View-Master reels), bring them along to be
viewed on Chris Perryís supercharged View-Master projector.

Chris wrote an article for the Jan/Feb 1995 ëStereo Worldí
explaining how he supercharged his Stereomatic 500, come see
the results in person. Everyone is invited, even if you just want
to come enjoy these rare reels projected! Also on the program
is the Vincent Price video, ëStep into the Third Dimensioní. This
is the video that Nishika put out when they introduced their camera
back in 1989. It features Vincent in a replica of the ëHouse of Waxí
museum, teaching us how to photograph with a stereo camera. I am
looking forward to that, because I can use all the help I can get!
