All they need is to try some slide film.  Then they will stop taking
anything for granted. :-)  

I still think that slide film is more demanding in terms of correct window
placement (making window violations more noticeable and bothersome) than
prints, mainly due the difference in realism between the two media. 
Otherwise, how can we explain the total lack of understanding of the
concept of stereo window, as witnessed in most stereo views produced for
many decades?
