As I recall, many eyeglass cleaning wipes include some kind of oil
(silicone?) and are not recommended for camera lenses - is it possible
that eyeglass cleaning liquid could also contain the same stuff?
Some of the posters may have misread K. Morcus' original question, which
(I believe) was a search for a good solvent for cleaning the *shutters*,
which would not hurt the lenses in case of accidental contact.
