***** So that you can enjoy his pictures without having to wait for all of
them to download I will point out a trick to speed up the process. If you
are using Netscape, right click on the image which you would like to speed
up and select the option, *View Image (file.name)*. The browser then asks to
look at and download that one image instead of all the images on the full
page. You can then click the *Back* button to return to the full page and
repeat the process for another of the images. This process can be more
pleasing as it speeds the process of getting something worth looking at.
Remember that time of day can affect how long the loading of images takes.
Visit when the web is generally less busy and it goes much faster.

***** I have to heartilly agree with Greg here. Please Please don't put
freeview images that are large scale in the parallel mode. It is *extremely*
frustrating. Use Cross eyed mode for large images and parallel mode ONLY
with small scale images that are no more than about 200 pixels per side or a
total width of about 400 pixels. Any stereo pair larger than that should be
in crossed mode. Please. I happen to own several viewing devices that enable
me to view just about anything, but that's not true for most persons and I
prefer *not* using the viewing aids except in rare circumstances.
Actual skills to freeview in parallel vary widely. Some can freeview very
large images in parallel but that is quite rare. Most persons cannot view
outside the average interocular distance. Place an image on your screen and
measure with a ruler to see where 2 1/4 inches really is! On my computer
monitor that is about 180 pixels. Other monitors might be less than that or
at the typical 72 dpi it would be just 162 pixels. I just met a person who
could freeview in parallel mode pairs that occupy most of the computer
screen. This is very rare, and even with those who can do this, the ability
varies according to how tired a person might be. It is very inconsiderate to
use parallel views that are large scale (above 400 or so pixels in total
width). Less than this maximum is better.
