Nothing, of course. A number of us do it to one degree or another. I think
the thing that got my dander up about the original post is that I really
dislike salesmen who feel they have to lie in order to sell something. All
of the guy's folksy chumminess -- verbatim from posts he made on Usenet
several months ago -- and pretense of interest in P3D as something other
than fallow ground for sales growth. It's like those E-mails we all
probably get from total strangers claiming that they have been web surfing
and they've just "happened on" some sex-oriented website that they "know"
we'd be interested in too. It's a lie. They know it's a lie. You know it's
a lie. And they KNOW you know it's a lie. But they stand there with their
teeth in their mouth and tell it. In case you couldn't tell, it bugs me.
