These were two-camera (cinematographe) films, a minute long, exhibited
anaglyph. Their classic 'actualitie' film 'Arrival of a Train at Ciotat
Station' was reshot with two cameras. Other subjects include girl on beach
with beachball, and gimmick shot of window with ladder coming through it
out at viewer. Exhibition may have been twin strip with red/blue filters
or it is possible that an optically printed anaglyph single strip may have
been made since the brothers Lumiere were pioneers in color and the
autochrome. The films have apparently survived as left and right eye
prints so the exciting possibility exists that they could be given a world
premiere exhibition in twin-strip polaroid projection.
