Asking this group is sort of like asking the choir why there
are so many infidels out there.  8-)  My answer would be, "Heck
if I know."  I'm sure there are some with more intelligeOt answers 
in this group.  One current problem is certainly a lack of technical 
expertise in the theater owner/projectionist population.  I went to 
a 3D (polarized) show not too long ago at a local theater.  They 
had a depolarizing screen.  Some people on this list have tried to
clue in projectionists that were projecting badly but were met with 
arrogance.  In conclusion, although not a whole lot of expertise is 
required, it doesn't seem to be out there.
