P3D Realist viewfinder cleanup: Possible?

Hi!

Thanks for responding to my post.

My humble Stereo Realist 3.5 has a cloudy viewfinder. Forty years of age is
probably to blame, but as I look at the camera closely, I'm encouraged by
what I see. I *think* I see some residue or film on the underside of the
outermost lens of the viewfinder and it just calls out to be cleaned off.
I've read on this digest that the Realist cameras are easier than some to
work on. Therefore, could someone tell me how to remove the lens board? I
removed the four screws which, I presumed, hold it in place, but as it
refuses to budge, I'm concerned there may be more to it.

If you have ever corrected a cloudy viewfinder problem on this camera, I'd
love to hear what you did. Otherwise, please help me get the lens board off
so I'll have my chance to clean the viewing lens from behind.

Thanks!

Hugh
