Okay, now you guys have me confused again. If you remember I wrote
awhile back about getting fuzzy pictures at wider apertures and
that is what I had remembered reading on P3D before. I had asked
how does one get sharp pictures at wide apertures, and the responce
was that they are normally sharp, and that it was probably a faulty
camera. Now I am reading the same thing as had been posted numerous
times. So do wider apertures make for fuzzy pics or not? I understand
it effects the DOF but this doesn't apply in my case. Does it in the
above, from what you guys are refering to?

P.S. I had picked up a Ilex Paragon here at the photo flea market,
and at the time I didn't know which of the lenses were supposedly
the better ones. I had seen a Realist at one vendor, who was selling
it for $190US. It was in very nice condition and came with the case.
I thought about it and then I went looking around and saw another
one at another table. This one had the David White lenses and he
was asking $225, with no case. This one wasn't as nice and I asked
him about it and why his was more expensive than the other vendor.
I told him the other vendors camera was in better shape, but of
course he couldn't tell me much. I then decided to buy the Ilex.
When I learned on P3D that this was better lens version, I was
happy reliefed that I had made the right decision. :-)
