Hi!

I'm enjoying taking slides with my Pentax beam splitter and viewing
them with the Pentax viewer and also with the incredible Tach-Lite!
I also take prints and view them with a large Loreo viewer.
Thanks to Milan, Gary, Dr. T and everyone else who helped get me
started!

I've been aware of the Nimslo for a long time but I'm not interested
in lenticular. However, recent messages about using it for slides
really made me sit up and take notice! I thought it had a fixed shutter
speed and lens opening, but it would seem it has a variable-speed
electronic shutter from what I'm reading. What is the range of shutter
speeds? What is the lens opening (I assume it is fixed)? The most
recent message would seem to indicate the lenses are sharp. Does
anybody have any further thoughts on how sharp they are? I also assume
the focus is fixed. What is the actual point of focus?
Does the exposure control system adjust for different film speeds,
or is it fixed at ASA 100 or something like that? Are the images
18X24mm?

I am excited about the possibility of shooting slides and choosing
which two images I want to use--also having "leftover" images to
make flat prints from or to project flat. Maybe I could even put
ND filters over a lens or two for simultaneous bracketed exposures!
(It does have four lenses, right?)

Any information is appreciated!
