Some labs won't make smaller than 4x6 enlargements, but they can be
drastically trimmed down to result in the correct size for Holmes
viewing.  You just have to take that size into account when composing
your photo to avoid having to crop off any important parts of the image.
I had Grand Photo make 4x4s of Realist negs in order to crop out some
objectionable areas and to enlarge a small portion of the "center of
interest."
