The lenses are f5.6 wide open, but the shutter
blades are used to give a variable aperture opening
at higher speeds (than 1/30) like in most point and
shoot cameras.

The manual doesn't say but at 1/500 the aperture
is probably around f16 (or maybe even f22).

They are 3 element glass lenses, and are AR coated.
So they might be as sharp as other 3 element cameras
like the Realist and Kodak stereo, but I don't know
for sure.

It is fixed focus, so it will be less sharp than
the 50's cameras unless your subject happens to be
at the exact point of focus.

The manual says 2m to infinity is in focus. So the
camera may be focused at 4m. I don't know for sure.

It has a 100 and 400 ASA switch. Plus you could fool
it with ND filters over the sensor for slower films.
Though the 1/30 sec at f5.6 will limit what you can
shoot without flash.

My ruler says about 17.5 by 21 mm. The Nimslo/4 perf
slide mounts you can buy have the reduced height window
to match this image size.

  Yes four lenses.

You could use lenses 1 and 3 for one pair and
2 and 4 (with ND) for another. But you would only
have 36 mm lens separation. Somewhat hypo.

The outside pair is about 54 mm apart, so still
a bit hypo, but useable I think.

Good luck - Greg
