No one else seems to have replied to these posts so far although I seem to
remember discussing them on photo-3d some time ago. We have a couple of
these screens at work and I have used them for stereo projection ,they are
brighter than other screens with better retention of polarisation being a
rigid sheet of brushed aluminium . But also even more directional so that
if it is in the correct position for the projectionist standing it is dimer
for the audience sitting . Also the surface is concave slightly I presume
because they were originaly for projection televisions and the convex
surface of the CRT's had to be corrected for . With flat slides this means
that the curvature distorts the image and you cannot have the centre and
edges in focuss together especialy if you use the whole surface which is a
little over a metre square.
