Yes - that's why I found it suprising that I was having battery
problems - maybe the green light is a bit over optimistic.

On mine, when I looked thru the len(es) with the back open, I'd
see the right two (or three) open sometimes, and then sometimes
the left. The flash sync was extremely weird - it would flash
when I let UP on the shutter button, not when I pressed down. 
It looked totally zorched (and the green light was on) so I was
surprised when the new batteries fixed it. But not a bad camera
assuming you can get it at the right price. The 11*14 lenticular
I had on display at Jamie's exhibit at the museum in BC was taken
with it, and the image stood up well even enlarging to that point (given
that to my eye all lenticulars look fuzzy...)
