Hi All,
Greg Erker asked:-

I can't answer that directly, but I'm working on a safer method with my
Image Tech. Well it's a tad too new to go rewiring it.
I'm making a clip to fit around the left hand side, which will cover the
built in flash completely. Then I intend to drill into the cover and fit
a standard slave cell into the hole (about 10 notes each where I live).
Then I can connect any flash I like to the slave cell's PC socket.
I've also extended the clip far enough underneath to fit a tripod mount,
filter holder and lens hood (a Cokin P system jobby should do I think) and
so on.
One thing at a time though.
