P3D RE: PHOTO-3D digest 2465

Friends,

As promised. We attended the Press Showing of the new IMAX 3-D cinema in London's Piccadilly circus last night and found this to be the best IMAX programme ever. It's the one about New York (where else?) and they have truly done great things with it. In particular the re-working of old black and white early century stereograms are terrific. It's a true technical achievement.....the plot of the film is a bit thin, but they have at least made an attempt at a story. If you get a chance, see it!

Reference non-disposable 3D lenticular cameras. The TRIO will be available in March in bulk. True QVC may well have an advance run. We have not had a chance to test the lenses on this new model. Will let you know when we have.

Meanwhile, we have found that the RITTAI gives some of the best results (and this is fully motorised, both wind on and rewind at the end of the film).

Seasons Greetings and a Very Happy and Prosperous New Year.
