I guess I was totally off the mark when exactly two years ago I
advertised in photo-3d (there was no sell-3d) the following:

- Keystone "Trip Around The World" 600 boxed set ............. $375

"This set is in good but not mint condition. It is missing about a
dozen cards but has all the boxes and it is priced to sell. Sure,
will ship to Germany but shipping might be more than the price of
the set. Seriously, it is HEAVY!"

The irony is that I only got ONE request and it was from GERMANY!
While packing the set I discovered that there were more than one
dozen cards missing (maybe 30 total) and, to compensate, I PAID
FOR THE SHIPPING!!!

These were the days...

Not everything is worth more than the original purchase price.
I suspect that in 1990 when the boxed sets were going for $150
and the Keystone sets for $1/card, this was less than the
original price...

Also, I know for a fact that the Stereo Realist camera today is
sold (used, of course) for 1/10 of its original purchace value
(factoring inflation, etc.)
