George, even the most common box sets don't seem to be on the market that
often, at least from my perspective.  The 1200 is pretty rare (or, at the
least, I have only seen one other set for sale in the 3 years since I
became aware of it).

Waldsmith lists the 600 for $600-650, that was in 1991.  My strong
suspicions are that this would go for at least $1200 today at an auction. 
 maybe John Saddy can remark on this better...he's the professional at
this :)

I'm neither affluent nor a baby boomer, but I've affected the price of
views, I'm sure of it.  I've been in my share of bidding wars, and I
resent being called a boomer.

George, people collect cereal boxes now, and beanie babies can command
prices over $1,000. Why would you be surprised that current VM packs would
be collectable in 10 years?  Do you think that people in the 1870s thought
that the items in their living room would be worth a fortune 120 years
later?
