P3D Monitor Recommendation

I am currently shopping for an external monitor to use with my laptop
and I was hoping some of you experienced 3Ders could give me some
recommendations.  I need a monitor that will allow me to free view
stereo pairs on the internet easily (I remember on this news group
people recommending a maximum size of monitor for this).

Also I want it to work well with the VRex system I recently ordered and
wanted to know what to look for (regarding DPI, and other specs).

I know this has been discussed before but I got too many hits on the
search engine under "monitor" to be useful. Thanks for any suggestions.
