So I thought I'd better check out the Photax viewer that I converted
about ten years ago to take both Realist style and 50 x 50 style mounts.
The apertures are 33mm wide and the lenses seem (to my eyes, anyway) to
cover this format quite adequately. It has a halogen bulb (does that
pre-date your conversions, George?) and is bright and clear. And no, I'm
not taking orders!
