In the most recent Edmund's Optic Catalogue, they list (p 117) a 6x
wide/flat field viewer specifically designed to view single 8 perf
(stated FOV 1-1/2") chromes with a coated double achromat optical system
for $80 (quantity procing available). Slightly longer FL (about 47mm),
but looks like it might fill the bill for a lot less. Lenses already
mounted in a threaded black anodized aluminum cell w/lock ring...
