Several companies sent out 3D 'experts' to help install the 3D.

I lived in Southern California for part of the 80's and was not aware of
any kind of 3D movie boom... The few I heard of weren't enough to call a
boom.
The rest must have been under-advertised, or were only showing somewhere in
Borneo.
Chuck Field Says:
>> Those movies, in the 80's, were really pretty bad. I saw, "Comin' at
Ya"
and decided that the entire movie was made so they could show a scene where
a topless lady gets dragged along a beach... in 3D! (bouncy-bouncy-bouncy)<<
Chuck: Art for arts sake
Larry: Here in Borneo we saw these films (many of which were
late 1970 films)(I have probably left some out, sorry):
Andy Warhol's Frankenstein
Amityville 3-D
Ape
The Capitol Hill Girls
Chain Gang
Comin' At Ya!
Creature from the Black Lagoon, reissue
Domo Arigato (finally played in the 80's)
Dynasty
Fantastic Invasion of Planet Earth
Friday the 13th Part 3
Hit the Road Running
Hot Heir
House of Wax, reissue
Hyperspace
It Came from Outer Space, reissue
Jaws 3-D
Magic Journeys
The Man Who Wasn't There
Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn
Parasite
Rottweiler
Scoring (or M 3-D! the Movie)
Sea Dream
Sexcalibur (video)
Silent Madness
Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone
Starchaser: The Legend of Orin
The Stewardesses, also The International Stewardesses,
also The Stewardesses, Part II, also The Stewardesses, Part III
The Surfer Girls
Tales of the Third Dimensions
Tiger Man
The Treasure of Four Crowns
Transitions
Venus
We Are Born of Stars
Several Russian films never played here in Borneo, like
Na zlatom kryltse sideli and Uchenik lekarya. There were also
Japanese only released films and Italian only released films.
You had to go to an Aerosmith concert to see their 3D short.
Thanks for the time,
