Dennis,

If I needed accurate cutting, I would probably use a rotary trimmer (eg
Rotatrim). Unless you already have one, you may consider this an expensive
option - the cheapest is ~80 GB pounds. An alternative may be a rotary
craft cutter; if you make an alignment jig, then consistent cutting should
be possible, with some care.
