P3D non-stereoscopic depth cues

This actually sounds like a suggestion that was previously posted some
time ago about a series of slides that someone either made up or was
going to make up to explain 3D to newbies. I'd love to have a set like
this to help explain what they're looking at, as well as explain the
"window" and such.
My best view so far has been the "Movie Magic" photo opportunity stands
at Universal Studios (Florida). They have a stand for your camera and
a backdrop painted on a board hanging in front of the stand. When you
align your camera on the stand, the backdrop merges with the street
scene and it looks like you're really in Hollywood.
So, I aligned my left lens on the camera stand and took the photo. Now,
when I show it to people, I tell them to close their right eye and look
at the photo. Then I tell them to open their right eye and see if they
can see the board that the background is painted on. Sometimes it takes
the person a few seconds to tell that the background is really in the
foreground, but once they do they're pretty surprised.
Maybe everyone should have a series of slides as described below to help
explain what 3D photography is all about.

Ron
