P3D Sync or synch?

Sync or synch?  Both are wrong!

Is it the English language or just the American culture
responsible for these horrible abbreviations?  (I know
they are not common in other languages)  Is it a matter
of laziness or what?

The abbreviation "stereo" is responsible for the confusion
between sound and sight.  By butchering words like that
the original meaning and etymology of the word are lost.

Why not use the correct term "synchronized" and get over
with it???
