P3D Ice

I will add my voice to the chorus asking David Kesner for ice photography
tips. (I live in Toronto, which is about 3 hours by car from the big ice
storm, so I won't have any pictures. I was "lucky" enough to get some of
the great blizzard in Victoria B.C. last year, though. (note to U.S.
readers- Victoria is known for *never* having snow-last Christmas it
snowed. A lot. Even the Army couldn't dig themselves out.)) I have some
nice pictures of ice from the Toronto Islands- the north side of the
islands face Lake Ontario, and there are often amazing ice formations
after a period of cold and windy weather.
My best pictures of ice were taken by wearing crampons to get close enough
to the interesting formations.
