Although we're on a definitely non-3D tangent, I'll also mention
that when interviewed on TV, one of the several lead people for
that super-famous dictionary in Great Britain -- the one that's
the "ultimate" English dictionary -- he said that dictionaries
document usage of words.  They aren't the definers, they are
the followers of usage.

So (I'll throw in a trumped up 3D link) if we all start to use
the word Flakbarumpus  (FLAK' bar um pus) to mean realist-format
stereo photography -- and enough people use the term, it'll
start showing up in dictionaries.

When I was a youngster, my father would constantly say that
"ain't" isn't a word.  Of course he'd show how the dictionary
didn't have it listed.  Does now and has for quite some time.  :-)
