Darren Gunderson asked about which Plano storage box is best for 
stereo slide storage.

That would be the Plano StowAway 3700. Look closely, because there is 
also a 3710 that is not quite the same. I have found these for $5.95 
to $7.95.

A better choice would be the Flambeau Tuff 'Tainer 5004. This is an 
almost exact replica of the Plano (it even says so in the 
advertising) except that it has twice as many dividers and costs much 
less. I have found these for $2.95 to $4.95. This is NOT to be 
confused with the Flambeau Infinite System which I do not like at 
all.

I have found that if you use your handy dandy dremel tool and remove 
one row of the permanent dividers a Realist Red Button viewer will 
fit perfectly. Well, almost perfect, it does buldge the top a little, 
but it still closes and latches. This makes a handy container to 
carry a few hundred cardboard mounted slides, a viewer, spare 
batteries, and bulbs. Just right for entertaining the inlaws at the  
family gatherin *{;-).
