I haven't created any 3D slides (yet) but have been using the Kodak
(a.k.a. Qualex) processing center in Fair Lawn NJ for many years now.
Long ago I did an experiment where I simultaneously sent off a few
rolls of slides to *all* of the Kodak processing labs listed on the
mailers. After looking at the results, I decided to use Fair Lawn
exclusively since they were the fastest to return the slides and had
the most consistently good results. The fact that they were fastest
shouldn't be a surprise in that they were closest geographically (I'm
also in the Northeast). But the slides from them seemed generally in
    better shape than the others.

Just recently (a few months ago) I sent Fair Lawn a roll of slides film
to be processed and requested "no mounting" on the flap (nothing more,
just that). The film came back loose wrapped in a box.

I have purchased, but not used yet, some Fuji slide mailers because a
friend swore by them. I was going to send a test roll to Kodak --er
Qualex-- at Fair Lawn, as well as Fuji, and Seattle Film Works by way
of a comparison. After a recent posting about Seattle Film Works, I
may not bother with them since I have had very bad luck with them in
the past. In any case, while I'm not likely to do this test in the
very near future, I will report my results when I do. (I don't know if
Fuji does stereo mounts but I am planning to do my own anyways.)

    								Later...BC
