I agree, the line between "gimmick" and "tool" is very thin.
This past summer I saw an example of this, whereby 3-D was
used as a TOOL for very GIMMICKY marketing. ;-) I am surprised
you haven't seen it, since you were in Greece this past summer
and that is where I saw it. See my next post for what I am
talking about!
