The Realist 45 is like a Iloca Rapid with the rangefinder removed.
It's built Realist-style with the viewer on the bottom. What's
funny is that it was Realist's "low end" camera, but it was
easier to use than their higher-priced ones. Not that everything
was by any means "better", but it has my favorite winder in terms
of ease-of-use. As far as I know, it's the only Realist stereo camera
that cocks the shutter when the film is wound. :-)
