Both (kinda):  Psuedo-stereo.

Hey!  It's a $3 previewer with maybe only a couple minutes work
done to it.  One obviously can't be  critical when previewing
this way, but it works better for me than just holding the uncut 
film up to a light (where it's still Psuedo).

Just something to provide INSTANT gratification (of a perverted sort)
when I get my uncut film back.   Gives one an idea of how it'll 
look non-psuedo.

Not great on an absolute scale, but pretty good for $3.  :-)
