Any idea why is this so?  Did you kick and scream when you got drafted
for a President this year?

OK Derek, why don't you then answer on the main issue:  Do you think
that having a formal club has any advantage?  In Detroit specifically,
would a get-together 4 times a year be a more succesful operation,
drawing larger crowds and generating more enthusiasm than the the club 
does now?  How is a group of stereo enthusiasts going to decide?
Do you have any advice from your over 10 years of experience in Detroit?
