P3D Re: Selectron trays!
Ron Short asks about the TDC Selectron Carrier:
>How many slides can you put in the carrier at a time?
30 (in the tray not carrier)
>If you use the Selectron carrier, can you project 7 perf?
No. The carrier does not have apertures wide enough to show all
of the 7p frame but will so a bit more than 5p and for many
people is still acceptable. This particular carrier is very
difficult to modify for 7p. But Elliott Swanson has done it
and has posted the details some time ago.
>Do you have to put a stack of slides in some type of case before
>you put them on the projector to project?
Yes, you have to put them in the trays. Then you load the
tray and you feed manually each slide. The advantage of the
carrier is that the slide goes from the tray to the carrier
and back to the tray, so it keeps your slides organized.
