I think this is similar to the question as to whether a tree falling
in the forest makes a sound  or noise if there's nobody there to hear it.

Is there depth if one can't see it?

The mountains in the background may have a teeny tiny bit of parallax,
but is that "depth" if a person's eyes can't perceive it?  If the
amount of parallax is below the human's threshold of perception, is
it "depth"?

I personally think not, I think there is parallax, but not depth
because "depth" is a human interpretation of the parallax (just
as noise (doesn't exist) is a human interpretation of sound (does
exist).
