P3D Lincoln View?

There's a fairly interesting short article in the Feb/Marck 98
"American Heritage" magazine regarding a view discovered in a 
California flea market, which appear to be a previously unknown
photo of Lincoln (maybe). 

The view appears to be an original (not pirated) flat mount with
canary backing of some kid of civic gathering in winter. By doing
considerable enlargement a very grainy figure appears who may be
wearing a stovepipe hat.

This was purchased for $5 (!).
