It's precisely because of this *challenge* and the work-around you are
discovering, that you find yourself faced with another opportunity. Since
you already have to shoot with a clean background, you can replace that
background area with whatever you'd like, and in stereo.

If you're doing portraits, put the kids in a space-ship or sitting in the
mouth of a dragon. For the adult level of interest, the *here we are in the
Wild West* kind of portrait can be created with a virtual 3D set. To do this
photographically you might have to create a mask along the way, but
digitally, it's easy with chroma key processes. There's gotta be some
commercial value to a bit of fancy fantasy in 3D!
