Hi Les and welcome to the exciting world of REALIST Stereo Photography! I
have been a Realist user for almost 10 years now (and do not regret it!!!!)

This is a stereo camera. The camera counts stereo pairs and every time it
advances by one pair. I was able to figure out how to load the film
without any instructions back in 1988 but if you have a problem, let me
know and I'll be able to help.

On a related issue, Peter writes:

Peter, congratulations on the purchase of a fine stereo book!

One minor note:

I don't sell original instruction manuals. What I sell is an ***
UPDATED *** instruction manual. This is important. The original
instructions (also the ones in the Morgan & Lester book) assume that the
film has a long leader. The film leader was shortened in the 70s. This has
simplified the loading instructions CONSIDERABLY.

Also, in the original instructions the "sunny day rule" assumes ASA 10
film, there is no discussion about electronic flashes, etc. My updated
instruction manual (updated by including correct instructions and
procedures in the margin) takes care of that.

More details in sell-3d.

Regards,

George Themelis, very busy and behind in answering email!
