Peter, the situation is very simple. All Realists stereo cameras (3.5,
2.8, whatever, but not the Realist 45 which is an entirely different
camera) take two kinds of filters:

1. The Realist filter, small that fits over the lenses and the lens cover
can be closed. Filters made in this size were a "Haze" and a couple of
color-correcting (yellow, orange). Tiffen also made Realist filters in
this size.

2. Series V filters, but only when using an accessory called shade &
filter holder. Once this adapter is fitted over the lenses (outside
barrel) you cannot close the lens cover. Series V filters were very common
in the 50s, kind of a universal filter size. You can find haze and many
color-correcting filters. Kodak made a polarizing filter for series V
size.

Your "Realist Manual" book has pictures of everything so consult it for
more details.
