P3D Re: line length

Although I've a file *somewhere* with numbers going across,
finding it and pasting it in every time (then deleting it)
is a chore I usually neglect to do. I just try to follow
what the quoted material did. However, I know I go over
a little bit from time to time. Problem is that my screen
is as much as 250~300 characters wide (it's a 24-inch
trinitron monitor with high resolution) so unless I use that
artifical method, it's hard to tell exactly. But this only
explains going over a little.

I didn't notice that (but then, my reader just continues lines
which are too long on the next line), but the reason for those
probably are related to creation oftext in word processing
programs that don't have embedded <CR>'s within a paragraph. This
is true of all word processors I can think of. <CR> in word
processors *mean* end-of-paragraph. If they paste from one
(or their mailer uses one) the result would be that which you
see. Just a guess.
Or was that a rhetorical "why"? :-)
